However, this 56-year-old single woman, who proudly labels herself a “hot cougar,” discloses that while younger men often flirt with her, not everyone reacts the same way to her daring outfits.
On TikTok, where she goes by the handle Aspen Cougar, Alex addressed trolls who claimed, “You can’t be sexy over 50.” In a video clapback, she defiantly showcased herself in a gold sequin ball gown, gracefully moving around to showcase its curve-hugging fit and plunging neckline.
Alex ran her hands down her cleavage, then lifted her dress to reveal stiletto heels and stockings underneath. Her caption read: “Women can be hot and desirable at any age. Own your age!”
In a different Instagram video, Alex disclosed that online critics have told her she’s “too old to wear a bikini.” However, she brushed off their remarks in the clip, confidently showcasing herself in a revealing black cut-out thong bikini and a matching black sun hat.
“I’m old enough to do as I please,” she wrote alongside the post, adding; Regarding handling negative remarks, Alex disclosed that she typically ignores online trolls.
She shared: “I tell them I have earned the right to do as I damn well please and then I block them.” She also opened up about her cougar lifestyle, revealing she’s dated men as young as 19.”
Reflecting on her experiences with dating younger men, she shared: “For the past several years, whenever I went out with my girlfriends, I was frequently getting hit on by men in their 20s and 30s, and rarely by men my age or older. It was extremely flattering and I embraced it.”
Alex shared that she refers to younger men as “cubbies” and finds them to be “eager learners.” She enjoys passing on her “knowledge and experience” to them. Although she mentions she’s open to dating men her age, Alex admitted having difficulty finding any she’s attracted to.
